A restrained portfolio website for a London fashion retouching studio, designed to let the quality of the imagery take the lead.

The situation
Surface Retouch works in a field where visual judgement is everything. The website needed to feel as precise and polished as the retouching itself, while giving prospective clients an immediate route into the studio’s work without unnecessary presentation getting in the way.
We designed a deliberately simple, image led website around the portfolio, showreel and client work. Strong spacing, minimal interface elements and a quiet visual structure keep attention on the imagery, while an easy to manage gallery system allows new work to be added as the portfolio develops.
